Yup. Trying to do something impossible isn't worth doing.

So what would be a good car to start with, I have a little time to spare so I might could try something everybody might think is a little more likely.

One concept I've always been crazy about was the 99 Charger. Ever since then I've been telling myself that newer concepts will grow on me and I'll learn to like them (i.e. Mustang, SS, SSR). I fell for the Charger the moment I laid eyes on it.

It's not a GM car, but has a good shape. I don't know if you could work with the pictures, but it would be a nice start I think. Only thing is, I wouldn't hold my breath for a new Camaro to come out resembling it.

I could actually see that going somewhere. It has "Camaro" dimensions in my eyes. (long hood, hatch backish) Just give it more Camaro futures and maybe we have a winner. See if we can find a better picture of that and start playing with it.

This has nice proportions and shape....This is what I'm talking about when I say it has to harken back to Camaro's, but take it's own direction. The charger pulled it off....too bad it's not here...

Dimensions:

Length: 187"
Width: 73"
Height: 52"
Wheelbase: 113"
Weight: 3375 lbs.

I had actually thought about using this picture for a concept, what do you think? I like the first Charger pic, I can see doing something with these.

May as will try it out! I think the SS looks fine, but maybe not as a Camaro. However, the Aston Martin has a very "Camaro-like" shape in my mind, so I imagine it would make a good base.

Some thoughts on the charger:

-eliminate the "+" on the grill and replace it with something more 3rd gen'ish

-Make the doors a little longer

-try to work in a forward leaning B pillar

-delete the side scoops and maybe add some ribbing ala '69 camaro in front of rear wheels for some texture

Rear visibility would be something to work out though....

Vantage could work too....Hope you feel better soon!

I did a little tweaking of camarokid's SSconcept>I couldn't do the hood right-adding a scoop-so I left it plain for anyone else to work on it.http://community.webshots.com/photo/...95801363uBTZWF

Ok, all those things sound easy enough to do and I think will look very good, I have to go to school tonight and then tomorrow I get my wisdom tooth cut out, so I'll work on them when I get home tonite and before I go to the dentist tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have something to put up tomorrow afternoon or late evening unless I am in to much pain tomorrow when I come home, hopefully they give me something for the pain and if they do I'll be feelin pretty good if you know what I mean and thats when the creative juices really get goin! So I'll put those up when I can and we'll go from there. Thanks for the support guys and wish me luck for tomorrow.
