Simple question. Should the topics discussing someone's idea or plan to fix GM's problems really be in the 5th Gen & Future Vehicle Discussion/Automotive News section or would it be better fit for the Lounge?

 

Some of the stuff posted here is borderline lounge material.

If the mod's don't excited about it............neither should we.

 

With over 8,000 views, I'd say it's in the right place. If you're not interested, don't click it. What's your beef anyway?

 

They come to see what could possibly be next. It's like people looking at the wreck on the side of the freeway, no one really cares about the people involved, they just want to see some bent sheetmetal.

But my beef is that you just keep pushing your plan, even though 95% of the comments are trying to tell you that it's rediculous for you to blame all of this on one person. But you don't seem to get it. Your'e not as smart as the people who run the worlds largest automaker. Accept that, go from there, and stop trying to sell a plan that no one wants to buy. Your'e obviously not that good of a salesman.

 

I've got hundreds of replies that state otherwise. Guess again.

 

it seems that as of late you have to read many pages just to get a bit of info, that is refuted, then a week later changes, then changed again, and then when it is finally confirmed, the person will hint that they were the one that brought you the info first. personally, i am on a european board to get most of my future vehicle info. they have more spy shots and info usually. and in the case of the z06, they just plain out can't keep their mouths shut.

 

Im not saying that your plan is junk or anything. I just don't like the way you present it. You push it as the only option and you bring it across in a way that can only be described as car salesman-like.

 

I think its fine where its at. It does fit in with automotive news. Oh yeah, just because somebody is in charge of a company, doesnt necessarily make them smart, just makes them rich. Look at some of these CEO's that run a company in the ground but get multi million dollar severance packages.

 

It is Automotive News, and it stays in this forum.

Honestly, if you don't like reading about it...why create another thread about it? Look where it is going...
