I hope these are the "new" gm class leading cars.

I really want to buy a Volt.

 

Why is the next Impala so far away? 2 Malibus will have come out since the last Impala.

 

Because the Zeta Impala was canceled, so they had to start on a new replacement?

 

Impala has had so many setbacks now... does anybody care anymore?

It can't be doing GM's image any good to continue production of a car that looks very 1990s in design.

 

That's still a ridiculously long time.

Another 3 years? At least the Malibu is proving to be a stellar car, hopefully people who test drive an Impala will at least leave the lot in a Malibu. I've driven quite a few for work over the years as rentals, and while they are NOT "bad" cars at all, they scream "old."

Any timeline on the next Colorado? If GM does it right, it may replace both my trucks (Z71 and S-10).

The Regal will be in production within the next few months -- so the GMX350 in 2011 is *not* to be mistaken with the Regal on the Buick website.

And that is two years out for the new Malibu, which is supposed to be shown at NAIAS in a few weeks. Methinks that is too slow. We need that pulled up 6 months.

 

GM..if your listening....2013 is unnecceptable for the Impala! Absolute horse Sh......

Coming from a GM faithful person who has had 4 W bodies including currently 00 Impala and 07 Monte Carlo.
What is the plan? If we let it rott long enough people might possibly buy our malibu instead? Bring back the Monte and All new impala.....24-28 months tops!

 

Wasn't the new Malibu supposed to take the place of Impala. I wonder if this is a RWD Impala.

 

I think we can start caring again if Impala rides on Alpha!

 

Nope, it'll be on LWB Epsilon. The current Impala is supposed to get a refresh though. Can't imagine it being very extensive however.

 

Should be sometime in '12.

The Regal we'll be buying in a few months will come from an Opel assembly line in Germany.

The production will move to Canada when GM sets up the new Espilon assembly line over the next couple of years.
