I drove a supercharged mini cooper S. It'd be a fun car to rent and beat the **** out of but you'd have to PAY me to drive that thing on a daily basis. I felt like I was driving a clown car.

 

Ehh.. same car, different motor.

 

Actually the 2008 turbocharged MINI wagon shown is entirely new and longer then the ALL new 2007 Cooper that comes out this fall. While I agree that cosmetically there will be little significant differences between these 2 new models versus the current one, but that's the result of current one being so iconic and successful.

I have a MINI as my 3rd car that I use on weekends for drives along the beach/PCH out here in Orange County Calif. and its more fun to drive then any car I've ever driven (it's like a big go-cart).

Lol, my buddy has a 63 mini, we drove all the way to DC from southern Va in it. Thought I'd be cramped being 6'2", but was a pretty comfortable ride.
