Spy pics of GMC Sierra Short Box
Re: Spy pics of GMC Sierra Short Box
I know it could just be the cammo... but it looks like there is a fuel door behind that little patch on the quarter panel.
If so... why put the fuel door on the passenger side? Especially on a truck?
I hate that.
Put ALL fuel doors on the DRIVER'S SIDE on all vehicles. There's no reason to put the fuel door on the opposite side of the vehicle.
I hope I am seeing it wrong when I look at the picture.

Since Nsap is taking so long and C&G didn't post it within the first 24 hours. Here you go guys a profile drawing of the GMT900 crew cab trucks showing the front end pretty well, taken from from the GM truck-camper loading guide.

Also of intrest certain areas of the dealerworld site, where I found this guide, call all the GMT800 trucks 'classic' like GM did with the Lumina then old Malibu.
All of this and more can be found by leafing through this link.

Re: Spy pics of GMC Sierra Short Box
Thanks for the info....
Looks like the GMT900 box is 1.5" deeper than the GMT800. Though the two illustrations showing the rear of the "classic" truck are definitely sketches of a GMT400 truck. The other images to the right of these appear to be GMT800.
Styling wise it looks like the headlamp and markers will once again wrap around into the front quarter panels much like the pre 2003 GMT800's. There also appears to be a more prominent front grill/hood treatment.
Thanks again
