Something you don't see everyday
Every now and again I'll see some of Ford's high end performance, luxury or prototype cars driving around town here in the Dearborn area.
Well, it's a snowy day today. I was on my way to school and driving my beater van in about a quarter to a full inch of snow, sludge and water on the roads. Up ahead, I see an ultra-low profile car. Interested in this, I catch up to it, and see that it's a Ford GT.
Wow, a $100,000+ sports car trudging along on the slushy Michigan roads. The car was caked in salt and dirt and didn't look all that pretty. Ford must have been doing some type of winter testing on the GT, as my friend seen one in the bitter cold a couple of weeks ago on the Southfield freeway. I wonder how the low-slung sports car handled the wintery weather.
