Anybody have base and moderately-optioned MSRPs for a 2002 Z28? From memory, no option cars were ~$22k and more common examples were ~$25k.
The math then becomes pretty easy to do.

His is pretty well fully loaded ~ ttops, leather, Hurst, etc.... I believe it was in the $27k range and base was $22 or $23k...

I have no issues with the durability of GM paint these days. My only issue with GM paint is why is there so much orange peel? Shouldn't orange peel be optional?
Re: Some thoughts from Red Planet....
You don't have to sell me on GM quality... I now have six Chevies at my house.
(We just picked up a used 01 Tahoe LT.)
In case anyone is keeping score:
Three Camaros
Two Tahoes
One Blazer
Nice post RP

STATEMENT: “GM FUEL ECONOMY SUCKS!”
GM has more car and truck segment fuel economy leaders than ANY manufacturer…a list is on www.gm.com
GM builds 19 car models that get 30mpg or better…..VW builds 14, DCX builds 13, TOYOTA with 12 and Ford with 11.
GM 4WD full size Utilities have the highest fuel economy in the industry
GM V8 pickups have the highest combined fuel economy in the industry

GM builds more 4wd full size utilities and V8 pickups than any other manufacturer (except for maybe Ford?) which means that that ~1 MPG advantage that GM has over the compition is null when trying to look good for being fuel economy consious.

GM makes much better product now than it did, it's interior design is first class thanks to Arsensio and her team, Lutz and Wellburn are turning out well detailed, world class designs, they need to put the new product in front of the public.
I'm rooting for 'em!
