It will be fun to see how Toyota handles having the big red bullseye on their back...

2007 New York Auto Show: Anti-Toyota Activists arrested
It sickens me how Toyota-centric we've become.
I love GM and always will... to compare mundane, boring Toyota to GM is to highlight how much more GM could focus to improve their image and product lineup on a global scale. Product for product, I'm convinced GM have 'superior' vehicles and there's even better product to come in the form of the RWD Zetas... However, GM's got too many brands to care for. Surely, a leaner GM consisting of only Chev, Cadillac and Saturn would allow more marketing dollars to properly promote the 3 brands... and dare I say it, 3 world brands!!!

I don't agree with these nutjobs' premise, and this could have just as easily been a GM attack as it was Toyota. But, at least someone is calling attention to the fact that Toyota is not the tree-spewing, green company the public has been led to believe.
Someone should tell these guys the issue is not having "cleaner" cars but having more fuel efficient cars. Even today's worst offenders produce something like 30 times fewer toxic gases than the best car in the 60's.

Ignorance and anger is a deadly combination, it shows the power of the press with all their Global warming garbage...
And talk about killing trees; I've been trying my BEST to kill a grove of Honey Locusts at my moms for years, they're darn near indestructable.
Poison is the only thing that makes a dent; I cut them down to twigs and the are 20ft tall a couple of years later...and huge thorns!
Kinda just like Rainforrest trees or I should say tree; one big giant organism, root system, that springs up trees where ever the roots travel...evolved past the need for seeds..
Anyways, back to tree hugging, just don't hug a thorned Locust..

Heh, I've been having the exact same problem with sumac trees at my mom's farm. I spend days cutting them down only to have them pop up again every year. Amazing that they can survive with no foliage whatsoever. This year I bought some Roundup heavy brush killer so we'll see how that works out.
I've burned them out once, they come back with a greener color, more resilient than ever...
And you know what, the more CO2 in the air, the faster they'll grow, consuming even more CO2, nice check & balance system.
Not to mention the fact that they put more water vapor into the air also, pulled up from the ground by plants roots. Which shields out UV's...oh well.
I guess Global Warming Alarmist don't think of things like that tho...it's more fun to go bash vehicle makers, and brings more fame.:blah:

solution to Honey Locust trees:
1. Use a chainsaw to cut them down to stumps.
2. Find a friend, neighbor, or co-worker who has access to explosive materials. Everyone knows one guy who can get something like this.
3. Drill a hole into each stump.
4. Pack each hole with plastic explosive (preferrably).
5. Get a safe distance away. There will be shrapnel.
6. Detonate explosives.
7. Gloat over your victory.
