Sounds like the scoops might be an option, but that whole report has mess ups in it. (I also noticed the 6.0/6.5 thing right away)

guionM is irresponsible, short-sighted, and an "eager beaver"? Interesting comment. You'll excuse me if I have a somewhat different opinion of him. My perception is that he tries to share every shred of information with us that he can, and that he is a straight-shooter....not even sort of resembling a GM apologist.
Well since you are the spokesperson for apparently more than one member on this board, perhaps I should start pre-coordinating my posts with you first

And as usual, my words are being taken out of context and abused. What exactly is your point, alluding that I was referring to just the one member you mentioned? Maybe you have also noticed this post in the thread since you posted...

....and as was stated before; this was NOT the first place it was posted. I saw this on two other boards before it appeared over here.
My POINT was there are PEOPLE (not one person, so I stated it in the plural... Vern) doing this and frankly it bugs me to see unreleased info being repeated in reckless and misleading ways. The more it's repeated, the more credence gets lent, such as the absurd notion that a 400 HP car is going to come equipped with 225 tires

...So you've concluded I called guionM an 'eager beaver' (oh NO! ). Why not let the man speak for himself, should he choose to? Or are you diversifying in your menu of apology services? And BTW I do not consider it all bad for someone to be eager in this way, since obviously he is excited about the info. More than I can say for some...

I think having the scoops as an option makes the most sense. It allows Pontiac to retain the more "sophisticated" and sleek look while offering the scoops for the purists and for those who want it to be more aggressive. I think it's a win-win for Pontiac and GM.

I agree - if true, having the scooped hood as an option will still allow the BMW-intender crowd to be comfy buying such a car. If not... I'm sure some 04 GTO hoods will be floating around on EBay...

Sorry, but I am a spokesperson only for myself. Please look up the word "assume" in the dictionary.

And as usual, my words are being taken out of context and abused.
Then perhaps you should try and state your point differently? Personally, I think I took your words in exactly the correct context.

What exactly is your point, alluding that I was referring to just the one member you mentioned?
See statement above about stating your point differently.

Maybe you have also noticed this post in the thread since you posted...
Or maybe not. Not relevant to me. Sorry.

My POINT was there are PEOPLE (not one person, so I stated it in the plural... Vern)
Nice out - or attempted out. Try and sell it to someone that will buy it, Junior.

doing this and frankly it bugs me to see unreleased info being repeated in reckless and misleading ways.
Oh well. Must suck that it bugs you.

The more it's repeated, the more credence gets lent, such as the absurd notion that a 400 HP car is going to come equipped with 225 tires
Mars aligns with Venus from time to time.

...So you've concluded I called guionM an 'eager beaver' (oh NO! ).
Concluded? No. Stated as fact? Yes. Does it bother you? Apparently so.

Why not let the man speak for himself, should he choose to?
He can do (or not do) as he pleases. I shall do the same. So sorry.

Or are you diversifying in your menu of apology services?
Did you come up with that sentence all by yourself?

And BTW I do not consider it all bad for someone to be eager in this way, since obviously he is excited about the info.
Change that tune, Alex!

More than I can say for some...
Is this suppossed to be some sort of subliminal message? Come on boy - spit it out!

BTW...I don't care for the scoops.

Bob...please spare us from quoting every word in every sentence. I understand that you really want to prove your point, but it gets a bit old seeing it over and over.

Also, can we not have this personal directed arguing and nonsense in all these posts? Arguing with each other just to do it without any truely good reason or purpose.

IZ28 has a good point - so I'll refrain from the personal debate with the character above (it was starting to be difficult to understand anyway). If it saves one 'page down' key on one member's computer, it will be worth it...

Howdy. I'll take that under advisement. BTW - one has the option of reading a post. Or not.

You didn't complete your thought.

It has been requested in the past, and you are correct. In the interest of this Forum, I shall try and bite my tongue (finger?) a bit more often - especially where it concerns the GM (or Ford) apologists.

Touche'.

That is a little surprising, since they seemed to try to keep the options to basically none, with only the transmission choice being optional for 2004.
The hood scoops will be standard, not an option as hinted. I think the wording is poor. All pre-production 05 coming down the line right now at Holden have the hood scoops.

I don't believe you. A picture is needed for proof

Isn't that the 05 Monaro? Not a GTO.

Thanks for the update.

That certainly seems to follow the 'simplicity of build' that GM seems to be focusing on with GTO.

Pick you colors, pick your tranny, and you are done.
