The Dodge viper was just a concept for quite a while before it made production. A couple of years at least. I think it was a concept in 1991 and went into production in 1994? I am not up on Viper knowledge, someone fill me in if I am wrong.

I hope GM can really push the Camaro from Concept to production in a real time frame. That and the styling are my only worries right now.

Actually, Camaro's a design study. It's probally going to look as much like the real Camaro as the "concept" Aviator looks like the real one going into production next year. It will probally have the "feel" of the car, but most certainly isn't going to be another thinly disguised Sky or Arua "concept".

Yeah, I've noticed he has been posting on this forum a lot more lately too, which is always a good thing. He even got in on the Z06 vs Ford GT threads that were bombarded by the Ford fanboys.

Ford fanboys
In all seriousness, I agree with the poster above about how maybe GM is just getting more tough about leaks, and the timing of this puppy in its cycle. It troubles me not, due to my faith
(Plus I already have a new 400 HP muscle car in my garage )

Hopefully it goes from concept to production at a good pace, probably not, considering its GM here, but hopefully.
I think its a good time to show at least a concept of this car. Its been out of the public's mind for way too long already. Hell some people think they stopped making them before 2000...
