So I Saw a Sky Today...
So I Saw a Sky Today...
Going down the interstate. Let me preface this by saying that it was a body in white with the checkered camo, but I wasn't really impressed. Going down the road, the sky doesn't have the presence the solstice has. I really liked the sky on display at NAIAS, so maybe it was just that white is a boring color. Maybe I have just swayed back towards the turbo solstice...
btw, the sky had a single pipe on the right side, integrated into the black molding (not turbo).

I hope it was the white, or something. I hope it doesn't have that dullness or whatever it is that you speak of. I think it would be good for saturn to have something with a big buzz for a while.

I like the Solstice better, myself. I just think it's more a masculine car whereas the Sky appears to be less aggressive. That is to say that I think more chicks will take to the Sky, which kind of reminds me of a Honda S2000. The Solstice reminds me of a Porsche Boxster. Both GM convertibles look great in their own way. Both cars are symbolic of a turnaround for GM.
Just my 2c.
Just my 2c.

In reference to the camo, there wasn't much at all. Tape over the saturn badge and a little zebra-ing on the center of the rear fascia. And beleive me, I know what the sky looks like...

Re: So I Saw a Sky Today...
The Sky might be the best looking American car of the past ten years. I like the Solstice too, but I'll be graduating in December, and I have my eyes set on a new Sky.

No. I just think the Pontiac has that aggressive grille. The Sky has that clean front end look.
But each to their own. Time will tell.
It's great, too, that we are able to share our opinions in a civilized manner!
