I'm sorry, but Daewoo is always ugly. I have yet to see their car where I'd say "OK, I can see how some would buy it." Hyundai is way ahead by comparison. Even Kia isn't doing too bad with its SUV, but this???

It's amazing that the Chevy Aveo looked better when it was a Daewoo Kalos.

And the Malibu looked better when it was a Vectra.

Ya know with all these new ity bitty clown cars coming out, I'm hoping there won't be a new wave of baby ricers too, lol.

Honestly though, some of these things I'd be afraid to be in... imagine getting in a wreck! Can you say death?

Man: Do you find something comical about my appearance when driving my automobile?

Nelson: Uh huh.

Man: Everyone needs an automobile, even the very tall. This happened to be the largest one I could afford. Should I, therefore, remain the subject of fun?

Nelson: I guess so.

Man: Uh, huh, wha? How would you like it if we made fun of you? HUH?! [Pulls down Nelson's pants.] Now march! .... Look everyone, it's that boy who always laughs at everyone. Maybe we should laugh at him....Wave to the people.... Blow them kisses!

Crowd: Ha ha!

Nelson: Wah wah.

Now with the prospect of FWD, a Mitsubishi engine and a Brazilian factory, I could care less.
DITTO! And yes the respective models do bear a striking resemblence two the crx and that turd on wheels - the focus

I still can't help but feel that the Aveo has more of a "sporting" feel to it. Finally Chevrolet will have a vehicle that can pay adequate homage to the 3-cylinder Metro. May all Metro enthusiasts run out into the streets and rejoice...

All kidding aside...the Daewoo Kalos got decent reviews in this UK story.
http://www.easypcp.co.uk/index.cfm?I...2&reviewid=550

Note again...how much better it looked as a Daewoo.
The one in the story has a 1.4L......I'm sure the Aveo SS will pack the full 1.6 motor.
