it is a 2000 with 16,000mi. M6 with just about every option but the CD changer, it also has the SLP exhust (from the factory I'm told) I wanted to wait until I got some pic online before I told you guys, I got the car last week.

I wanted the GTO but I couldn't wait until Nov. I needed a hot car for the summer, plus since I live in the Northeast, Nov. would have been a dumb time to buy so I probably would have waited until April. I also would have thought about getting a 2004 Lightning or a CTSv, but they both don't come out until late this fall

This SS should help me get by until 2006

I love the LS1, nice step up from the LT1. T-tops kick *** too, my 94 Z didn't have them.

my wife just bought a 350z and i have to admit it is a fun car to drive. It handles great in the twisties and it is decent off the line. everyone who dynos them right away gets low numbers (215-230rwhp) but like our ls1's with some miles they are starting to dyno decent. Some people are getting 245-265rwhp after some miles. The only thing that sucks is that the mods are too expensive. Over $1000.00 for an exhuast that will give you maybe 10 hp.

Iwas wasn't planning on getting one until summer but when I found this deal I had to jump on it. I got it for $2000 under kelly blue book private sale price.

KBB Retail = $22,500
KBB private = $19,700
what I paid = $17,700

only had 16,300mi. when I bought it. It also has the optional SLP exhust, so I guess that makes it 330HP stock link

I had a hard time finding one with a 6 speed Manual too. It seems like at least 75% of the used ones are autos.

Ha, you'll be close to that at the WHEELS! Great buy, and great miles too for a 3 yr old car. Heck I would've bought it if I had seen it. Get a lid, you'll be amazed what a piece of plastic can do.

lucky dog.. I have been looking for the past two months for a slightly used SS but everyone wants way too much for them . I saw one today driving past a Wal-Mart and saw a NBM 01 SS with #$K miles for 22... it doesn't have all the SLP options so i think it is pretty high although it looked very nice and had a "Hurst Equipped" emblem on the rear (first time I saw that)

congrats on the car

If you'd like to give that 350Z some more ***** contact these people, they've been doing some good work on them. I actually hung out a their shop over the weekend. They have developled some equal length headers, and are in the beginning stages of reworking the factory intake manifold.

Call me old, cheap and not understanding, but you already had a hot Z28. That red one is a fantastic looking car. If you needed a hot car for the summer, seems you already had one.

Your new car's great, but when I jump back into car payments again, I'm not going to do it for a new car that looks like my old one, especially if 2 brand new hot cars are due to be out in 5 and 11 months.

Thats why I won't buy a newer 4th gen myself...despite the fact my '97 has "older" styling and an LT1, I still don't consider the '98-up cars to have dramatically more to them that would make me want to swap!

For instance, on the lot right now I have a 37k mile '97 Z28, and a 15k '01 WS6. The Z is priced at NADA retail ($12,900), and the WS6 is a grand under ($23,900). Despite pricing the WS6 1k under retail, there is still an 11k price difference. I ask you...is that WS6 REALLY worth 11k more? I ask myself this all the time. To me, the answer is no!

Actually, considering the really low miles, it sounds like a good deal. I wish I could get my hands on some Manheim auction sheets to tell you more. Excuse me for thinking like a wholesaler.

Congrats on the car. My philosophy of used is that if you can't get what you want new, wait for the right car to come along. Obviously your wait wasn't too long.
