I really don't think that anymore new points or arguments can be made to be honest. It is really time to lay this to rest...especially when certain people from GM have already laid down thier thoughts on this and Chevy has announced plans to have the top performance model for every line called SS. Essentially though some feel strongly there is no point in wasting more bandwidth on it

BTW, if we banned Z28 vs SS discussions, what would we talk about when there really isn't anything to talk about?

Next you'll want to ban those "Mustang sucks", those "I hate GTO because it isn't retro", those "Why can't GM just tell us about a 5th gen" and some of those other great topics that come up over and over again when things get kinda dead around here.

actually I was thinking ....the Z28 was the road course hellion...so why do we have a 1LE option? shouldnt the Z28 be the Road course going option for Camaro? Make it the special model its supposed to be? sure the top of the line is SS fast and creature comforts..but if you want the white knuckle in your face road rippin Camaro..you get the Z28...hmmm maybee I should post that...

 

The Z28 vs. SS thing served a good purpose, it was a lively and interesting debate and probably got the right people thinking about it. However, the topic has run its course. There's just nothing new to add about it. Why do I get the feeling that ironically, this thread is going to turn into another argument about Z28 and SS.

Maybe we should stop talking about Camaros altogether and just make this the "Ford recall alert forum".

 

The irony is that we know that this will probably turn into another Z28 vs SS thread. Give it another two days and it will be 5 pages long, full of Z28 vs SS garbage that has been beaten to death too many times.
