Am I the only one that find's it disturbing that a college educated person can be such a complete moron when it comes to economics? What on earth are our schools teaching these kids?

And second to that what about manners, dignity, respect and how to carry on a point and counterpoint debate intelligently other than just jacking his jaw asking questions without giving the chance to hear the answer.

It was just stupid overall.

What an ***. That kid has no idea about economics or engineering. Colorado, Silverado, Corvette, Tahoe, Vue Green line, Suburban all get best in class fuel economy.

A company that sells only thousands of cars a year doesn't stay in business for long. Just look at Accord hybrid sales if you want to see what the consumer things of price vs. fuel economy.

The quote about where we went to college reminded me of something I've heard Lutz say all too often first hand at auto shows.

"You've got some 'college educated' kid who went to some school that nobody has ever heard of saying we're going bankrupt."

Classic!

No. I think that many people would be shocked to know, what exactly it is that's being taught in the screwls! Particularly those paying big bucks to send little Jannie & Johnnie to said screwls.

Yes, it is disturbing but sadly, not unexpected. These Liberal nuts have no common sense, they really don't. They have total tunnel vision and see one issue and fail to see the 50 other factors and are unable to see the big picture. Plus, you can't expect much else out of LA.

If you go to http://gmtv.feedroom.com/ and watch Rick's speech, or fast forward to about 35:40 in the video, you can actually see where this guy jumps up on stage and tries to get Rick to sign a contract saying GM pledges to become the most fuel efficient auto maker by 2010 and basically Wags pushes his little buddy out of the way while saying "Isn't that what my speech just said?"

VERY funny.

Wow...that was more than a little ignorant of them. What did they expect was going to happen? Any idea who those guys were affiliated with?
