Go little cobalt go lol. It's great having GM shortly offering stage 1 and 2 upgrades and now this... Backed with a successful showing in the Rolex sports car series with the SS's I hope this little car will take off. All i know is quite a few SS"s and redlines in this area like picking on my little 94 GS-R winter beater.

Re: SEMA show Cobalts:
While those Cobalt pics are nice , GM is playing catch-up since most of those styling techniques were all the rage back in 1995 here in Southern California.
The whole Japanese-tuner look peaked in SoCal 10 years ago and nationally it peaked alongside the release of the 1st 'Fast and Furious' movie in 2001.
You know when a trend has run its course was when a national chain like Pep-Boys was selling 'Fast and the Furious' branded APC parts for the wannabe 'tuner crowd'.
Im not saying the aftermarket industry (SEMA) is going to fall off a cliff but that new trends and styles will be needed for strong growth over the next 10 years.

And before anyone discounts the seemingly small gain on the stg 1 and 2 kits , add the 15% for stg 1 and 18% to stg 2 on actual WHP figures on the car . The average SS is dynoing in stock form 210-220 wp and 185-190 WTQ . GM has got to be going off the stock underrated 205 hp figure with their 231 hp for stg 1 and 241 hp for stg 2 .
