Remember though for ride/handling compromise GM put a suspension in that limits the towing to 4000. I bet if the Colorado/Canyon was upgraded to the H3 suspension it would leap up to at least 5000 (maybe more).

Interesting enough the SEMA vehicle contains H3 suspension pieces. I wonder if the production V8 will as well .
