Thety are both optioned the same now except my GTO has tons more room and a IRS. The price difference is really $3500 For similarly equpid cars.

My dealership had a $3500 rebate on a GTO a month ago. I talked to them a little bit and they said that the lowest price they could go was $27,000 plus sales tax(which is 9.25 here) So that is almost $2700 in sales tax. If I ever buy a new car, it won't be from a dealership in Tennessee.

Re: Seeing 05 Mustangs everywhere

Has anyone noticed that the '05 Mustang wheels really suck????? The best wheels are the optional ones only available on the V-6 (premium model or something)!!! Geez! It's a good thing I'm anti Rustang because if I was buying one I'd have to get a special ordered GT with the premiuim V-6 wheels!
the cool wheels
the boring wheels EVERYONE will have

Sorry to double post but... based on past statistics, hard-on doesn't describe Mustangs. More women own the previous generation of Mustangs than men, about 80% of the V-6 Mustangs are driven by women I believe. I forgot the actual stats. As with most performance cars, the GTs didn't sell as high as the V-6 models either. I think about 52% were owned by women and 48% men though. If you find the stats let me know though, I could be wrong.

I saw my first road driven mustang in Florida last night in Orlando. It was white, and parked - didnt catch if it was a GT.

Come on man, Do some research before you post. Don't talk about something you don't know 100% about. And you will stand corrected after clicking this link below, BTW the wheel's in this link are offered on the 05.

#1 Your link doesn't work.
#2 I do know 100% about the wheels.
#2.5 I know 100% about the wheels because I have the brochure. Therefore my claims are accurate (unless I posted a pic of a Mustang with the wrong wheels--don't know, haven't checked), check the pic I just took. See the badass wheel with the chrome spinner? Well that's the cool wheel. The 2 GT ones I consider boring. As previously stated, if I were getting a Mustang GT, I would have to special order the premium V6 wheels.
