Yeah, a GTP is a limited production car...I'm staring at 2 sedans and a coupe as I write this. I have 2 more on the truck. Real limited Maybe I'll end up buying a Saturn someday because I absolutely despise every other dealer I visit...

Sounds like our Pontiac dealer too. They had a few '04 GTOs at first and they were all nearly $40k. They sat there for months and now I haven't seen a GTO there in a LONG time. The last time I went there they were trying to sell an '02 Trans Am with over 30,000 miles for $29,000. Our local Chevy dealership doesn't seem to be nearly as bad.

Speaking of...a local Chevy dealer has a 35k mile, t-top '02 V6 Camaro for $18,995 I told him I could get a brand new Mustang for that, and the salesman said "oh, but this is a 25th anniversary edition!!" I said "see the orange stripes on that car over there? That's a 30th, and its a '97. So did they start counting backwards from '97 to 2002?" I hate being an a**, but sometimes its just too fun...especially when they ask $19k on a V6. I didn't even get started on the fact that this car is NOT a 35th, because he'd only argue the dash plaque means it is. I already had one of those arguments last week with a guy trying to sell me a "25th anniversary" RS...again, because of a stupid DASH PLAQUE.

We've been thinking about getting a Camaro for my fiance, so I talked him down to $15k in the parking lot, walked away and did a NADA on it...average retail is $13,600!!!!!!! What an a**clown. I'm thinking about going back and if she likes it, offering him $12,500. That would be the largest markdown I ever saw

And Red, if you're reading this...if by some magic power a 5th gen IS available in '07, please withhold the desire to put "40th anniversary edition" on the dash of ALL MODELS. Because when I go to buy them used someday, too many wingnuts think they're really on to something and it costs me $$

OMG...

I just bought that V6 the other night... Guy told me i was getting a one of a kind 26th anniversery Camaro, Which will probally reach 110,000 in value by the time im 40

I wish i would have known that $10,000 car wasnt worth $19,000

Never would have suspected dealerships to be dishonest, my whole veiw of the world is forever changed.

Guess im gonna go grab my aviator glass's and head out to the strip now, and try to impress some girls with my limited production dream machine.
