I propose a deal: he lays off the smilie, and you lay off the "circle jerk" phrase that got kinda old a while ago (maybe you could trademark it, like Hilton's "That's Hot"...). Deal?

He's just by far the worst abuser of it, but I can't lay off that phrase until the whole cycle quits being so prominent.... it's like 15 members come into a thread. One says something and they all use the icon. Then another of the 15 says essentially the same exact thing with different wording and then they all to him too. The cycle repeats with the occasional member who has already posted in that thread writing a whole new post repeating the same information but adding one or two new minor additional thoughts... and the fans go crazy with the bows.

If anyone dare say something negative then it's the responsibility of the first of the 15 members on call to defend the thread and then again for the rest to come in and bow to his wisdom.

It almost sounds like an alcoholics anonymous meeting in some threads. Everybody repeating what they know everybody in the room is already going through and then they take turns hugging each other and reaffirming each other.

OK so that'll be my new phrase. Support group meeting.

i think he meant the smile as a sign of gratitude for Threxx pointing out how much the smile gets used. i mean. the smile is pretty good and all but there are more than just the smile. i think we should all let the smile rest.
