Saw a Monaro tonight....well sort of.

Well the cruise season is in full swing in the Chicagoland area. Tonight, I took one of my boys and went to my favorite cruise spot. Usually, I park with my Camaro club buds, but tonight I became seperated, and found myself parked in the middle of a gaggle of about a dozen '04/'05 GTO's. Many of them had various mods...but one really caught my eye. It was an Impulse Blue '04. What made it so different was the Monaro front fascia that the owner had imported from Holden. That was neat...but what was really blew me away were the 19" Holden HSV wheels he also had shipped in the same crate as the Monaro bumper cover.

I'm telling you guys...those wheels look awesome and look so good on a GTO.
Just wanted to share that.

I was looking at an Aussie car magazine at Boarders the other night and there are a bunch of different spoilers and body kits for all the different models. Makes me wonder why they picked such crappy looking spoiler for the GTO.

I was driving through New Hampshire a few weeks ago and I saw a yellow Monaro with no spoiler. I thought that was pretty neat. I'd like to convert one to a HSV GTS
