Saw a Cobalt sedan last night...

On the way home from work, I came across a light gold metallic Cobalt LS sedan... had Manufacturer plates (not surprising, as most of you know I live in the general vicinity of the Lordstown Assembly plant...)

Anyway, I was a little surprised at how small it looked from the 3/4 rear passenger view on the road...

I think the coupe is fantastic looking for it's class, however, I've been a bit hedgy on the sedan... a bit quirky looking in the lines, IMO.

Not terrible, but I was just surprised that it looked smaller than I had thought... even when compared to a Cavalier.

I too find the 4 door a bit odd looking but love the coupe. So what did you think of the 4 door while in transit? Did it look any better, worse, same when compared to pictures?

Yea I always thought the Cavalier sedan looked wierd too. Can't wait to see the coupes at the dealership though!

I thought the same thing, till I saw the Mazda3 sedan, and they both have that same odd shape of the greenhouse.

I think the picstures represent it pretty well.

I did see the Cobalt sedan and coupe at the auto shoe, but being up on a stage, it's hard to get a real feel for what the car looks like at real-life height...

The coupe (especially SS with 18" wheels) does look worlds better imo too.

Don't really like the exterior of the sedan. Love the coupe (though my sis thinks it looks too much like the old Cavalier).

Colbalt's strong selling point is going to be that interior ( ), so it all may be moot anyway.

Re: Saw a Cobalt sedan last night...

I got my Wired mag, with the attached mag. It had a few pages with the SSR, Cobalt SS, and C6.

It looks as if the C6 shot was taken in the town next over. To anyone that has it, the one with the goo-goo dolls and with that smilie face in the background (which is a huge symbol of Asbury Park.) I wish I knew they were taking the pictures there...they could have invited me.
