Maybe it should be renamed, the designation F-Body is dead, even when a "high-performance coupe(s)" return, they will not be going by F-Bodies anymore.

The letter designations never meant much anyway...
H-cars were Monzas and Sunbirds and Skylarks...
Then they became LeSabres and 88's and Bonnevilles and the Sunbird became a J-car...
G-cars were Cutlasses and Monte Carlos and Grand Prix's and Regals, then those cars became W-cars while G-cars moved on to being Riveras and Auroras.
Go figure.
Corvette was the Y-car... but methinks the SSR should be called the "why?" car, although the LS2 goes a long way towards redressing things.

Hell, there's some marketing potential with the designation since it's so well known. Might get some mileage out of that.
