Hard to believe thats a Saturn. This thing is going to be a big hit. I take it thats the production model and not a prototype? I'd hate for GM to take away the aggresiveness like they did to the solstice.

Re: Saturn Sky L.A. auto show pics (plus more)

The car looks realy nice but it's still a Saturn just like a neon srt4 is still a neon.

I think the Saturn name will scare away a lot of male buyers and gearheads because of it's girly car reputation, but the miata sells so who knows.

If it had chevy or pontiac on it, I would be more inclined to consider it a substantial car but there's something about the saturn name I just can't get over.

Just because you don't like the SRT-4, doesn't mean it isn't a nice car. The Sky is a nice car, and the Saturn name shouldn't hold it down. It should stand on its own! Look at the car.

that saturn sky is a great looking car.It looks like it only has one tail pipe, and if so, it takes away from the symetrical lines of the car, there should be 2.If only it had a 300hp motor.

What engine would it have? A supercharged 2.X liter?

I didn't mean I didn't like the srt4, that is just what everyone always says. Maybe the saturn name shouldn't hold it down, but it will because of stereotyping.

I feel the same way. Everyone I talked to about performance stuff kinda laughs when Saturns come up.

Maybe this could be a good start to changing that.

NO supercharger, just a 2.4L 16V Ecotec

The Sky is

I would go for the Solstice.

If the Sky came out first, And Solstice second. I bet most would agree with me.

Gotta be down with the most current "fad".

I don't like the sky because its newer, I just dont like the solstice because its too bubly and girly looking. They should have switched the nameplates on these cars. Give pontiac the aggressive sky and saturn the bubly solstice.

That car is just gorgeous. Way to go GM, as far as styling goes, you finally hit one out of the park instead of playing it safe and bunting. Where I live, Saturn does not have any negative reputation that I know of. I have a positive opinion of them myself, so I would have no problem being seen in an incredible looking car like that.

Re: Saturn Sky L.A. auto show pics (plus more)

I hate to say it, but as a Pontiac fan the Solstice now looks dated compared to the Saturn Sky. The Solstice looks like a car a girl would buy. The Saturn Sky looks more aggressive in appearance. I think Pontiac got ripped on this deal.
