S/C Impala & Monte Caro to debut at Chicago

"Chevrolet: The first of Chevrolet's SS performance cars will be unveiled with the 2004 Impala SS and the Monte Carlo SS. Each car features a supercharged V-6 engine, suspension upgrades, and front and rear styling enhancements"
Looking at the list of debuts, it seems that Chicago will really be Chevrolet's show.

Both.

2004 brings sheet metal freshening for both Imapal and Monte Carlo as well as a supercharger from the factory for the SS models.

Bummer. I'd rather have a RWD NA V8 sports sedan with a bowtie on it!

eh..I'm not too impressed. Nothing more than a GTP. GM thinks that they can slap a SC on some p.o.s. FWD car or slap some sticker on the side of a car and call it a GTO and everyone will forget that they killed their muscle car. Not me!

WhooHooo!!

The new S/Ced FWD V6 Impala SS and MC SS, just what we want and have been waiting for!! NOT.

I know there's nothing else they can do right now but this ain't no Impala SS and every1 knows it.

I hope both cars at least look better, but we'll just have to see.

No joke IZ28. If GM wants to make a Impala SS or a Monte that isn't a crap box then they need only to look back about 7 years when they actually had Impala right. They ruined the Impala and Monte Carlo name by making them FWD. I love GM but man this is messed up.

I sure hope that they get things right. I don't wanna have to join the blue oval boys when the new Stang hits the streets.

This is only the beginning for these cars, the best is still to come. I am excited to see what they look like but I am really excited for the rwd cars in 06'.
