Once again, that is just a photoshopped HSV GTO.

Compare the two. It's the EXACT SAME PHOTOGRAPH. The wheels are even in the exact same position.

As yet, nobody knows what the GTO will look like, and you people posting pictures of "it" are like the people who send out e-mails looking for Christopher Mineo. You all need to be dragged out into the street and shot.

Arctic White w/black top
10-point roll cage
Simpson 5-point harnesses
!back seat (damn cage)
!CAGS, only "performance" mod I know of.
Why the rollcage? Damned if I know; I bought it that way, and since I've run a 13.637 1/4, I'm keeping it! Besides, it looks cool.

I'd suggest professional counseling.....you might want to remember who released that picture....wasn't it GM?

It's a drawing based of that picture. The shading is a bit different and it's obvious it's a not a photograph.

Anyone notice the red on the walls of the tires in the sketch? Perhaps this is a styling cue from the original.

BTW, I like it. It's going to be a bad *** car and I don't see it being mistaken for anything else. I bet seeing it in person will win over a lot of the doubters.

LOL, this car with red seats a blacked-out headlights would only be considered "bland" on this board. I can't wait see it at the NAIAS.

Since the title of your post is STYLING, I will comment on that. Sure hope I dont give anyone a heart attack (or the wrong idea that I am saying this is a GTO) by posting in the YEA column.

I like it overall, and I like it quite a bit better than any 4th gen or the current 99 up Mustang.

I think it is a bit bland tho, and too Cavalierish looking. I also thinks it looks more Soltice in the front than Grand Prix, which is too bad cuz I think the front is the weak point on the Solstice, and I have always liked the 97 up Grand Prix's.

All in all, on a 1-10, as far as the looks, I give it a 7.

Actually I only wanted to create a list here on this site to see if we could measure if more members here like the new GTO or dislike it without resorting to generalities. Thast why I made the other one up too. To try to get some facts here. Maybe I didn't explain myself enough on the original post.

I like the new styling. If it wasn't going to be so expensive I'd buy one

I like it. I also like the Monaro. THey look like almost clones of the Mercedes C class.
Very nice and will hold their own with just about any car on the road with a pumped up LS1.. What could be better? LOts of course but this will do fine in the mean time.
I'm ready for one now.
Later,
STEW

BTW, My screen saver from Holden shows the Monaro in all its different parts etc.... but it has type written into the background almost subliminally placed. ONE of the words is SUPERCHARGED..

I like it. Tastefully executed, and refreshing to see some non-over the top retro design.
