I reason I've switched over to automatics and I'm probably not going back to manuals is because I'm sick of having to work a clutch, not because I don't like to shift. Maybe this new G6 GXP is the car for me

I hope GM gets the new corp radio into this car ASAP. The current on looks very cheap. A $99 after market deck look a lot more hightech. I'd even pay another $100 just to get the better looking deck from the Solstice, Tahoe, Impala even though I know it probably cost GM far less than $100 to begin with.

Re: Ram Air G6 GXP.
Wow!! Awesome !!Yet again Pontiac is slapping a "WS6 Hood" on something other than what it belongs on. To create some excitement???? I can park this one next to my 05 GTO with the lund scoops
Re: Ram Air G6 GXP.
Although the GXP performance series has been very successful in the past, we’ve never attempted to introduce a GXP on our largest volume vehicle and we want to be sure we do it right,” said Dennis Maraone, Pontiac product director.
I guess we can add Dennis Maraone to the list of corporate-speak BSers that should not be listened to.

Thank you.
Dennis should check these out. They would be the benchmarks.

I would gladly trade the GFX, spoiler and front and rear fascias for a set of Brembos.
Right now, what we have here is Pontiac Rice. Who knows, maybe that's what they were shooting for.

Re: Ram Air G6 GXP.
They need to smooth out that spoiler... Sticks out a little too far on the sides.. Otherwise very G35-ish, if it is as good as they say, it should be great for the G6 and for Pontiac. The exhaust tips and the rear fascia looks great too.
Re: Ram Air G6 GXP.
It looks like a poor mans G35 to me. Poor man's because it looks like a G35 with tacked on hood scoops from Pep Boys, a cheaper interior and a Pontiac badge.
If I could change it any, I'd smooth down the hood and re-work the front bumper. A smaller grill and a more aggressive front air dam would look a lot better in my opinion...
Is it just Pontiac culture to go with the double hood scoop on everything? I think something less pronounced and more within the lines of the car would look better. Louvers might even look good if done well.
It has potential, just not quite my cup of tea.

I like the spoiler, and love the red accents and the wheels. That nose HAS to go, though. If they took the existing nose, added a little lip spoiler to it, that would be fine. Take the $$ saved from not having 2 distinct noses, and spend the $$ on chassis upgrades!
