THats not Buicks Job. Pontiac or Maybe Chevy are better suited to take the Charger on.

Actually what I meant to write was "LX cars". I just have Chargers on the mind.........
And I dont agree anyway. Chevy's current sedans dont compete very well with the Charger that alone the 300. A "large" sedan in this vein would be perfect for Buick.

I can see a Buick taking on the 300C. Both are supposed to be Luxury oriented. The Charger and Magnum need to be taken on by Pontiac, IMO.

Also the Epsilon cars will absolutely kill the Stratus in sales.
GM doesn't have to be the fastest in each segment. It just has to sell more cars.

I cant exactly argue with that. I can say that for me personally the LX cars have it all over GM's offerings. Not just because they are faster, better styling, and maybe even cheaper. But for a combination off all that some intangibles that are hard to put into words. They just feel better. Eventually the public will take notice. A lot of GM loyalists eventually jumped ship to the Japanese because they saw similar things in thier fmaily cars................

I think what it all boils down to is that instead of GM replacing their mainline FWD sedans with RWD sedans... it'd be nice to have a select line of RWD sedans to compliment the mainline FWD sedans and enhance the entire lineup.

Oh, and one general comment on the responses here....
I'm surprised at how many feel that if it's not RWD and doesn't have an LS2, it's not worth doing. Personally, I think there's room for different formulas under the big GM tent.
