Great book I might add also....Read it from cover to cover in 2 1/2 days...I COULDN"T PUT IT DOWN!

From the way I read about the 4th gen in ACAR, It made it sound like Cafaro and his guys really didn't do much to change the image of the car, just blended a few things better....

BTW I got the book from the local Boders for $14 bucks.(soft cover version) Hard Cover is $34 I think......

Stars1010: Hopefully the samething that happened to the C5 isn't going on with the F5 right now, if it were it wouldn't be until 2010 until we saw a new Camaro....I don't think that it would happen again anyways, GM is no longer in the hole like it was in the early '90's and the process for engineering cars is a constant now, not ever-evolving like the early 90's.....

I'll admit, I'm a 5th gen board adict. I've been reading this board since it started, and before that, searched out all info I could on the subject. After picking up that book it's like being a fly on the wall in the design studio (albeit more than 10 years ago).

For those of you who have not read the book, I wrote a commentary on it about a year ago. Click and read:

There's a copy of ACAR on Ebay now!...$6.

FYI...the author, James Schefter, died last year at a relatively young age.
