Production Bonneville GXP photos.
Looks good...Jed you make a good point but keep in mind after a year or two they'll probably have 8k incentives on those just like they do the GTP and the current cream of the crop bonneville. Bringing it down to a more realistic and reasonable 27-28k.

Anybody else find it kind of odd that they used the Northstar name on a non-Cadillac product? I knew it was the same engine, but I figured they'd call it something else.

does it look ANY different than the current non-GXP bonnies??
i can't tell the difference...
oh, nice shoehorn job on the Northstar btw. a "tight fit" would be an understatement.

I think it is just the silver color doesn't make it look as good as the dark grey

here's my take on the whole Northstar deal, I think Caddy feels like they've moved past the attachement to Northstar. Northstar was a way to boost the Caddy brand because it was a showcase motor for GM for a good while now. Sort of "see what we can do?" type of thing. but Caddy no longer needs it because they've boosted their image considerably now with actually making good and exciting cars without even relying on the Northstar.
So basically now the Northstar is on "hand-me-down" duty at Pontiac. Besides, they needed a place to stick it after they decided it couldn't go into the CTS. And why rename Northstar? its one of the strongest brands for GM. they want to boost Pontiac up with it.
