prez limo, please tell me this a photoshop?

The lights look great but the grill is HUGE. Please tell me that is not the real grill.

I know we don't have the best president, but at least give him a good looking car. Why don't they just use an Escalade limo? that would look better and handle the weight of the armor better.

They could've at least stuffed some 24's under those huge wheel wells.

I'm guessing that is the face-lifted 2006 Cadillac DeVille / DTS...

I have to say that is the first use of the Art & Science that has turned out terrible if it is.

EDIT: After reading the article, it IS the 06 DTS... I have to say I am disappointed. I didn't think the A&S theme would "tack on" well to the DeVille...

I'm sure the production car will have much better proportions and look better. That limo probably has more armor built in than we can imagine! The windshield is obviously not the normal version. Wont look as good as a CTS or STS, but not bad.

Yeah, I'd wait before pronouncing judgement on the appearance.

The cooling system on the vehicle would have to be armored for service with the President, which probably effects the look. The comments on the other site about the windshield and it's look are just silly... that's ballistic glass on the Pres' ride.

You and I ain't getting ballistic glass on our DTS's.

Shooting a Scion owner qualifies as a mercy killing, doesn't it?

This thing has about as much in common with the production DTS as Jeff Gordon's race car has with the production Monte. The presidential limo is a full custom job heavily armored and just as heavily classified. Recent versions were powered by a 454 and this one is most likely a RWD custom framed powerhouse of some sort. No torque-steer for the commander-in -chief. The DTS skin is stretched over something completely unique.

Sure, the grille looks big on this new one (assuming it's accurate), but as far as the presidential limosine's overall appearence & proportions, you obviously haven't seen his current ride, have you?
