Possible 6th Gen. Camaro Concept Leaked
GM High Tech Performance Magazine posted this on their site as a possible 6th generation Camaro rendering. To me this is a real life half of a car styling mock up placed against a mirror. I doubt it is even in full scale, probably in quarter scale. This definitely looks like something that came out of GM's design center.
Could this be a concept that is coming (maybe at NAIAS) that is going to show the styling direction of the 6th gen. Camaro?
I like some of the lines I see here, I think there is a lot of potential. I don't like the blacked out front end work.

OMG, it looks EVIL! I actually like that. If they continue with that direction (it's obviously "way over the top" for a production car) it should be an awesome car.

Looks awesome, but I wonder how a design like that would translate to the real world when it has to meet DOT standard. This car has not door handles, mirrors, reverse lights or side markers.

i want to see a full scale of this thing... it looks amazing! and if they can hit production looking like it...

Its a design study done by a GM intern back in 2012. Its a 1/3 clay model.

No, the Camaro is *supposed* to be smaller and lighter-weight than mid-sized rwd sedans. The current gen is the ONLY one that is basically a 2-door version of a FULL-size sedan.
Here's to returning the Camaro to its smaller and lighter-weight roots! Get it back down to 3400, please. Concept looks pretty badass, obviously would be diluted quite a bit if developed to production, so a lot of the cartooniness would go away.
