That definately looks like a Solstice. But remember in GT1 & GT2 there were several concept cars that were put in but never had a chance at true production, I haven't played GT3 A so I don't know about that one. One of my favorites, in GT2, was the silver Chrysler MR car with a HUGE spoiler. Also in the same game was the GT90 Concept by Ford and that came out WAY before the game was written. But hey this means I can drive it even if I can't buy it.

To me it kind of looks like a TVR which Gran Turismo has had in their game before.

 

The Solstice is in a version of Gran Turismo that was released last year in the Asian/Japan market titled "Gran Turismo Concept: Tokyo-Geneva." The Cien also make an appearance. This is likely a screen shot from this game.

I can however confirm that the Pontiac Vibe GT is in Gran Turismo 4 and I'd imagine some GTOs past and present will make it in.

 

I can't remember the name of the game, but the GTO concept of a few years ago in a playstation game too.

 

The guy in charge of the american version wanted pontiacs in GT3....didn't say why there wasn't any. It's pretty much a given that the new GTO will be in the game, and that definetly looks like the Solstice. I just hope they get at LEAST one Firebird/Trans am in 4...

I can't stand being able to choose an LS1 SS in 3....and not being able to play with a WS6...


Maybe the SS concept will be in GT4 as well? That'd be pretty cool...


This also brings up the Vette....will it just be an 04 Z06? or will they have the C6 in the game as well?(as a concept) i think the game is coming out before christmas, so could we see the C6 before the auto show?!?!

How about the Caddy sixteen or Cien, that would be cool.

 

Just hope they get the specs right this time.

 

Pontiac will be featured in GT4 and the GTO will also be featured. I hope the they add Trans Ams and Grand Prix GTPs and keep the Camaro around(I love the Camaro race car in GT3). Here is a list of American cars I hope that will make it in GT4

Other features on the game I've read from web sites. It will feature over 500 cars including older "muscle cars" and around 100 race tracks, and something I am really looking forward too is online racing.

I'd look for several Camaro offerings including the ones offered in GT3 ('01 SS and '97 Z28). I'll also be upset if the recent WS6 is omitted (as well as other classic TAs) and I've even got my fingers crossed for the Fiero!

That sight mentions the possibilty of an Impala SS, but no model year... I HOPE it's a 1996!

 

I picked up that game. I sucks compared to GT3 It uses the "Steve Saleen Design Studio" and has some pretty cool cars. It does let you kinda design your own cars, but they still suck.
