Pontiac G8 ST no longer V8 only

Now it will come with a DI V6 just like the Camaro. Probably a very smart move considering gas prices.

Excellent. I'm waiting for the DI V6 to filter down to the sedan, hopefully with a manual.

That's probably a good idea no matter what, unless the production target is so low, it doent really get justified to have two engines...

Regardless, for the consumer, the more choices, the better.

Interesting. I just may need to rethink my buying plans. A V6 G8 ST may just fit my needs for a daily driver. Its too bad its not a Chevy.

I didn't know it was planned to be V8 only. This is a good move.

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3.785 411 784 liters

1L = $1.53 AUD

Therefore: 1.53 x 3.78 = $5.79 AUD/gallon... which equates to USD $5.04c/gal in your language.

Probably the same time it goes into the G8 ST. I would also expect the Commodore range to get the DI V6 at least optional at some point.

Holden will update the Commodore in approx. 12 months time. Unless Holden make the DI V6 a running update expect it to come then. Funnily enough around that time the ute is expected to get curtain air bags, once it has them it will end up in NA. Should get a refreshed exterior and interior at the same time.

hmm, a 300hp V6 or a 360hp V8?

I have to wonder how the L99 compares to the L76.
