Pontiac Bonneville's future uncertain as audience wanes
Re: Pontiac Bonneville's future uncertain as audience wanes
Considering that the Chrysler 300C manages to be both RWD and better packaged than either the FWD Bonnevile or Grand Prix, it's pretty obvious that a single Zeta-platform car should be able to fill in for both
GM needs a mid 20k-30k full size RWD car with an optional AWD, that is not priced higher like a Cadillac.

Not even the Almighty DCX can make an AWD sedan for under 30k. I think that the G8 would be a cheaper alternative to the CTS. Im sure an LS2 AWD model will cost more then a 300C AWD, but cheaper then the SRT8.
Re: Pontiac Bonneville's future uncertain as audience wanes
Holden stopped building '04 GTOs and converted to '05s at the end of September, but the '05s won't arrive in the United States until late December or early January.
Shipping is the reason '06 GTO production would begin in May so the '06s will arrive in the traditional fall timeframe.

After reading the article posted this thread seems GM should concentrate on building solid good well rounded cars that do the basics very good. Trying to lure the public with gimmicks (ie XUV) can't sustain long term sales growth IMHO.

(yes, that means you're correct
