Please answer this question please!

Why in the H3ll are people arguing over the "fith gen's" solid/IRS axle? Do you guys know something i don't know? Like if there is even going to be one.... who cares the mustang will already control the market, and the camaro will come out and be upwards of $30,000 and nobody will buy it except the people "keeping the faith". You guys have argued over and over again about how it's going to have to sell like crazy for it not to bomb. All of the people that want a muscle car are just going to buy a mustang, Most likely because they don't even know a camaro might be coming.....I think GM might need to take a hint from any other franchise on advertising. I have never seen a F-body commercial in my whole life!! I don't think i would buy a mustang but they are kicking A$$. GT500 450hp, I'm sure a Mach1 is coming, and i heard they are even getting a cheaper (lighter) LX Mustang.

I think GM is going to come with too little too late. Probably some LS4 Bull.... I hope I am wrong though

Re: Please answer this question please!

Obviously you don't watch television. I see chevrolet commercials ALL THE TIME. Have you watched any sporting events lately? Maybe your a hermit.

The F-Bodies have had several commercials. I remember just a couple years ago the Pontiac Trans Am comercials "The musclecar is back"... Actually was a cool *** comercial.

The GTO is 30k, the Camaro will be lower 20's. It is coming, but buy your Ford at least your supporting the American vehicles and that I can commend you for...

That would make you about 6 or 7 years old.

I guess you missed the part where I said I wouldn't buy one. I admit that you do see a lot of Cobalt commercials.

That's the part I'm most afraid of. I have no doubt GM can bring a V8 Camaro to market, but I'm beginning to doubt that they can do it a price that's competitive with Mustang. We're probably going to long for the good old days during the mid-90s when the f-bodies were the undisputed bang for the buck kings.

Exactly my ongoing point, is it just Vogue NOT to advertise these days. There were, ofcourse, a few last gen comercials of TA's eating a car at the red-light, but very, very few real F-Body commercials over the years. I could probably count them on ONE hand!...

But really if you think about , to be in line cost wise with a mustang GT .....it would have to cost less than $2000 more than a stripped no option 2002 Z28 , with crank windows and 235/55 16" tires . If you equipped a brand new 2002 Z28 like a standard , no options 2005 GT , you were talkin $26-27K window stickers on the Z28 . Maybe by the time the new camaro comes out , GM will have figured out its cars are overpriced( on the window sticker anyways ) by alot , who knows .

I forgive you. Sorry I had to vent, I just wish GM would do something like show a glimse of a RWD V8 sports car. But then again like what they did with the solstice..... I won't even be that excited when we get one of those at the dealership, seems like i've seen it too much to be new.

Isn't that the "SS" concept car? I hope that's a not a good glimpse because I can't find one thing I like about that car. Maybe a sweet engine?

RWD 6 liter V8 seats 4. Kick butt interior. Chevy heritage cues all around. Yeah nothing to like at all.
