Pics: Challenger on the Streets
Re: Pics: Challenger on the Streets
It doesen't set me on fire.
I would be much more interested in a modern Chrysler version... I think that would make more sense then them trying to put 30-50k of them on the road like they are predicting.

It just doesn't look real to me, if that makes any sense. It looks like it is straight out of a cartoon for some reason. The tail light section, while cool just looks odd, and the whole car I dunno... just seems odd, it is cool but still just very odd.
Re: Pics: Challenger on the Streets
I thought I really liked it when I saw it at the Dallas 5th gen showing, but these pictures are making me second guess myself.
I do like how they let people sit in it, though.

Re: Pics: Challenger on the Streets
Looks perfectly fine and proportionate to me.
If it were parked next to a Mustang or Malibu or something, then I could at least have something to compare it's size too. But I don't see anything at all that indicates that it's massive.
Reminds me of how people piled on the 300 as a large massive car when it first came out, yet the thing was no wider than an Impala, and much shorter.
Funny how a car 3" wider than 4th gen & Camaro's 75", 3" longer than the Camaro's 194", and 4" taller than the concept Camaro's height of 53" makes a car supposedly too big.

Re: Pics: Challenger on the Streets
Looks good. Only thing I continue to dislike about the car is the long piece across the rear end. Gives the taillamps no shape or form at all. IMO they should put a small blacked out or body colored section in the middle with the word DODGE on it and it would look better.
Re: Pics: Challenger on the Streets
I think it looks absolutely awesome.
Unfortunately.....2 tons+? I complain about the likely weight of the new Camaro, and this one will certainly be more than that. Yuk.

Looks good to me, it doesn't look small, but it also doesn't look too big. I need to see it parked next to a Mustang or something
