100x better than the stock wheels we see here, which are ridiculously horrid.

Not bad, but they don't seem to fit the character of the car for some reason. Plus they'd be a bitch to keep clean.

IMO, they look like tacked on aftermarket wheels.

I actually like the stock wheels...

I agree. I'm not 100% on the '06 stock wheels though, I think they look great on the Cobalt, but are only ok on the Malibu/Impala/Monte.

Those black rims look like the ASA AR1 rims you can get from TireRack.com

Re: In a parallel universe, '06 Monte Carlo SS gets cool wheels.

If/when I buy mine, I'm ebaying the stock wheels and throwing my AR 17s from my GP on it Then for the winter I'll get some steel 16s and throw on my 225/60/16 Winterforce snows that are also for the GP

Although, eventually I will upgrade to black wheels like those. Black MC SS, tinted windows, those wheels...pure, unadulterated evil

I'm still trying to figure out how the MC doesn't get the same - if not worse- amount of flak for horrible styling the GTO has......it just boggles my mind. The current car looks like a clown fish and the 06........leaves alot to be desired.

I agree. The GTO is pretty bland, but the Monte Carlo is actually hideous, IMO.

The problem with the GTO is that its BLAND. The MC SS? You may not like it, but I think with the '06 revisions it looks very nice AND has more personality than the GTO.

Personally I'll take bland over ugly any day.
