Only the pathetically desparate with alot more cash than they deserve to have and lot less common sense than a light bulb need apply.

Have priced out what it takes to build a 69 Camaro of THAT calibur . I think you would need yourself a bigger eek smiley

Who would want that ? There are thousands of rich , hands off , non do it yourself 'ers that would handily plunk over the cash for a sweet 69 Camaro over a new Porshe , vette or whatever .

I don't really see the problem here...... $125k doesn't sound too bad for a ground up build of a '69 Camaro....

One could buy an Enzo for what some of Foose's latest creations have cost....

That place is a few miles from where I work.......cool.

$125K is reasonable for a car designed and built by Foose.

ohh trust me, I know... but my friend has a black 69 camaro ss convertable, and its completely original, only one chrome lining around the windshild is a bit rusted and thats the only thing needs to be changed and i think he picked it up for like 35k...
my friends 70's chevelle ss, he spent a lot of money on, 25k for the ls6, 15k for a nice paint job, and on his 72 chevelle, he got another 25k ls6 for it, a big blower, a roll cage, huge tires, blah blah blah...

but those 69 camaros arent original, they've been rebuilt, sure from the ground up... looks like the interior has been redone, accually looks kinda nice, but I'm just not interested in a camaro for the price... thats not the right camaro price... camaros are supposed to be v8's with 4 tires and a steering wheel, maybe 10k or so... not 125k..

It's a hot rod. However it is still an original Camaro. The repo coupe bodies are not yet available.

Re: Order a Camaro today! $124,000.

This is what they get for the Mustang (Gone in 60 seconds replicars) they build.....and they sell a LOT of them.

That being said, of ALL the cars I've seen Chip involved with....this is his WORST.

It's butt ugly...is it red or orange?

Flat black hoods, rockers, etc...are MOPAR trademarks and look like @$$ on a Camaro. Just way the hell to much flat black paint....even under the hood looks like a rat rod, not a $125k "collectable"....

The extended rockers make the sleek shape of a 1969 Camaro, suddenly portly looking.

Bad, bad effort....even Chip can't improve on the looks of a 1969 Camaro.......now Mark Steilow on the otherhand.....

I'll build ANY of you a comparable or even better car for $100k all day long....it won't have the Chip Foose mark-up factor either.....

Re: Order a Camaro today! $124,000.

There's a '69 Camaro ZL-1 on e-bay for $775,000.

I didn't get the link because I didn't figure to visit this thread again. The poster claimed it was build #40 and had all supporting documents. If you're interested, it was dark green with match steel wheels and center hubcaps.
