Opinins on the Cadillac "V" series and XLR ads..

Looking for opinions on the Cadillac ads running during the Super Bowl. "Barrels" runs in the second quarter, covering "V" series Caddies < CTS-V STS-V XLR-V... "Elope" is a XLR treatment in the post game. Other 5 second ads will run throughtout.

I think its a good idea. I think it would be a better idea for one long one to go along with the short ones introducing each car near the end.

You'll see how they are structured if you watch them during the game.

I'm most interested in what opinions are once they have been viewed...

well superbowl commercial air time prices set all new records this year. If they wanted to spend the amount needed to run a few full length commercials they could have researched, engineered, built all our 5th gens to our desires and wtill have money to spend.

Even the non-car people in the room with me thought that was a good ad.

Of course, WAAAY better than the crap ads they ran last year.

The "Bang" commercial was good, made a good impact.

The "dad's XLR" commercial was dumb. Having out-of-whack priorities to show the importance of a product is not an original idea at all. "Oh, go ahead and elope honey just don't take my XLR it's more important"
