Opel Corsa, a small car that I would definatley rock!

Available with engines ranging from a 58 hp 1.0L I3 to a 192 hp 1.6L Turbo I4, this could do VERY well in the US under the Saturn brand.

This looks heavily influenced by the Ultra WTCC Rally car.

Length=159"
Width=67"
Height=58"
Wheelbase=98"

weight=2652 lbs

0-60 in about 7.2 sec

For some reason the overall lines and stance of that car remind me of that blue chevy concept car that was posted here not too long ago - I can't remember the name of it... it had ridiculously big wheels that wouldn't make it to production, though, and some other ricer-tastic cues.

I think I agree that the car would do well with the Saturn brand if the interior is nice, the ride is comfortable, and if it's as light as it looks with the turbo-4.

Threxx here is the concept you were thinking of

It was either definately influenced by the Corsa or visa versa.

Love the Avatar Kyle.

And you're thinking of the Chevy WTCC Concept that was shown a little while back.

This is a hot little car, could totaly destroy Yaris. If there was a 5dr version, then it would be a shoe in to fight Fit and Versa.
Aveo sales would fall into the gutter.

edit: WHOA, thats a heavy subcompact.

There is a 5 door on the way. It appears it is a little overweight, compared to the Fit at least.

Fit Specs
Length: 157.4 in.
Width: 66.2 in.
Height: 60 in.
Wheel Base: 96.5 in.
Curb Weight: 2432 lbs.

Aveo Specs
Length: 169.7 in.
Width: 67.3 in.
Height: 58.9 in.
Wheel Base: 97.6 in.
Curb Weight: 2531 lbs.

So it is only 100 lbs heavier than the Aveo and 200 over the Fit. That doesn't seem to bad. Though I doubt you would be able to get the 1.0 I3 in the states.

Definitely a cool car. I don't know how well a 58hp motor would go over though.

I had a Geo Metro with 55, but it weighed 1,000 pounds less than that. And was still slow enough that bicyclists got cocky at lights. It did get an honest 50 mpg, though.
