This is the same car that just recently beat, Ferrari's and Porsche's in a 24 hr race here in Aus.

 

By export do they mean that the US could see some of these? I wonder how hard it would be to get the C5-R 7.0L emmissions friendly?

I'd like to see it just as a "track only" car. They'd sell everyone that was shipped here.

 

They are doing 2 versions, a "track" car and a "road" car to meet Australian standards.

50 road cars
25 export cars
25 race cars

From my understanding the 25 race cars are for a one make series in Australia and probably wont be seen oversees. The 50 road cars will be available with a 'race kit' as the normal car has to meet emisions standards etc. The car with the 'race kit' wont be road registerable but is believed to have the same tb as the show car.

I guess if any of those cars go to the US a 'race kit' would be made available
