Re: NSX dead

Uhh, if the new car is going to resemble that silver concept they showed in 2003, why don't they just badge it as the new NSX? C'mon, besides a more voluptuous rear that car is a carbon copy of the NSX we've been seeing for the last 15 years. Plus, you get to keep the ricer cred the NSX name carries.

Re: NSX dead

The silver car is a hybrid concept labeled the HSC, although I would hope they would just call it the NSX if it made it into production, as to not lend themselves to a confusing situation. I hope they make the concept into a production car, as I would like to see a company make a hybrid car that actually has performance intentions, and see how it does.

For the next supercar, Honda is teaming up with Apple to bring out the OSX.

Re: NSX dead

Other boards have the same thread filled wil RIP and what not. Not us BABY! Hell with it! lol

That would've really been a great car if Honda had the nuts to make a real powerplant. I guess it was neat considering what it was, but so is a midget with a 40" vertical. But do you think a 3'10" person could play in the NBA?

Re: NSX dead

Well, a replacement is in development. I guess it won't be called "NSX."

Your corolla has 3.2L?

I'm hoping they'll drop a real engine under the hood too. Look at Lexus/Toyota and their upcoming supercar. 500hp 5.0L v10. Now that is the real deal. But Honda has yet to develop a production v8 let alone anything as wild as a v10 and have this mentality that a v6 in every application is more than appropiate.

Honda/acura needs to see the real picture. Their flagship RL sedan, truck, SUV's, and high-end sports cars need something bigger than a 3.X v6. I think it is time that they stepped upto atleast a v8.

Re: NSX dead

I always thought it was a bad decision that Acura priced the NSX so unrealistically. They could have been a viable alternative to the Vette if their pricing had been more in line with their performance.
