Found it tonight, and it says that it is a never before released GM Commerical.
I think it is a great piece that should amost be spruced up today and run again. It really plays the an upperhand GM has which no import can match....it's great history.

That is a neat commercial but it does not look that old. I saw the Cadillac LMP car so it must mean it is from 2000-2003. I guess the thing that struck me most is that they showed very few if any shots of their current vehicles at the time. They spent plenty of time on nostalgic Chevrolets, some race vehicles, and they showed multiple concept vehicles. Even the SSR they showed a few times could have been the initial concept if the video was done before 2003. Its like they were too embarrased of their current line up to show it off.
I agree though, when GM has a good portion of their product portfolio revamped (2009 sounds good
), with all guns blazing, that would be an excellent video. They just need to make sure they show off all that great new product

That commercial would be perfect for the Camaro Convertible
Without being too negative here, it's stuff like that where I can look back and say "Wow, GM's been promising really good cars for years now, while delivering mediocre ones."
Thank god Wagoner and Lutz took the shackles off Welburn and because now that commerical would actually mean something.

I'm totally confused by this. They turn the nostalgia up to 11, but the message is "The Past is a lonely place to live".
Then again, I've rolled my eyes at the corporate propaganda at places I've worked as well.
I bet that idea still sells a lot of Buicks.

If you're 40-50 and think GM's current cars are in any way related to those...then by all means.
.Obviously this was part of some "motivational speech" that they were given. Apparently it took a couple more years for the motivation to really kick in!
