no 6sd stick G6 coupes?

Did Pontiac discontinue the 3.9 V6 with 6-spd. manual in the G6 GT Sedan & Coupe models? I've been looking at the Pontiac & BuyPower sites trying to build a G6 GT like I want with the 3.9/6-spd. combination, but there are very few of them around. I have a current Pontiac brochure which says that that combination is available, but an e-mail from Pontiac tells me that it isn't offered, so what's going on?

The PDX Sport Package for the GT coupe and sedan which contained the 3.9L engine and the 6 speed manual was removed from the order guide in early December. I don't know how many were built with that option, but its possible that there are still some out there.
To answer the original question probably due to lack of demand. I have to say that when I first saw the '07 G6 powertrain line up I knew it would have to be streamlined sooner rather that later. It started with no less than 4 distinctly different engines (2.4, 3.5, 3.9, 3.6) and 3 different transmissions. It was confusing and couldn't have been cost effective to offer so many variations. I'm just sorry the 3.9/6-speed was the one to go.

I figured the "older" LZ8 (pre-VVT & DOD) 3.9L was the bigger target.
Since demand is always claimed to be low for manuals
...It was just a matter of course. GM didn't want to throw any more engineering dollars at calibrating a new powertrain combo (6-spd man. with LZ8 VVT & DOD) that, in their collective mind, would only take sales away from the new GTP powertrain with its 6-spd auto.
Both the Accord and Altima coupes have or will have optional manual transmissions. Yet now, the only Epsilon you can get with a manual trans is the Saab 9-3.
