For the Nissan (especially Armada) fans

Nissan Motor Co. had a record May, with a 15.5 percent increase in sales over last May, said Jed Connelly, Nissan North America's senior vice president for sales and marketing. Connelly said the Armada sport utility vehicle led the way with record monthly sales of 3,500.

"We're getting on people's shopping lists for the first time" in the SUV segment, Connelly said.

I wonder what these new owners will think when they log onto the Titan/Armada forum, and find out that there are so many problems with these vehicles, that they had to devote an entire sub-forum to "PROBLEMS".

First time I've seen that!

I belong to that fourm. Check and see that I have been posting for over 6 months under the same name I use here. Most of that is bull and people trying to get reactions. Dont think eveything you read is true. Nissan recently became the most profitable automaker. A year ago I would not have even considered a Nissan prodruct.

I believe some of it could be "bull"... but there is a LOT of owner complaints going on there..... enough that a specific and devoted forum was setup just for problems.

I seriously doubt the founders of the website would do that just to promote "bull"...

Also, you certainly don't see that level of "bull" on any other dedicated forum... don't know why a big group of people would pick Titans and Armadas of all things to lie about.

Actually, Nissan passed Porsche as the world's high profit margin automaker.

I still have to wonder why you've posted some pretty silly lies about the Armada yourself?

In an attempt to make you look like a biased idiot. IMO, it worked rather well. I think others would agree.

Very true. People LOVE to complain about their recent $30k+ purchase on the internet. I mean, that's why they bought their car in the first place, right? Because people love to gripe about the largest purchase they make, besides their home? I'm sure much of it is pure BS...

Or not...

Not quite. Most of the complaints were insane and from people with no history on the site. The reason they created a specific place was that it was causing flame wars.

Yeah, people love trolling on a site and bitching about a car they don't own and have no experience with. Sure, happens all the time...in bizarro world maybe. If a site is getting THAT much heat it needs a separate forum, something tells me they are NOT all random people flaming a truck.

I mean, look at us. We only really have redzed as a true flamer, and we're a pretty large site. So for titanforums or whatever it is to have a bunch of angry people? Come on, stop kidding yourself

There are a lot of angry people about the titan. There were tons of posts that went like "I was at a light and my rearend went out. I threw it into 4wd to get out of the intersection when the front diff grenaded. I gunned it anyway and my engine exploded. " There are some legitimate complaints as well. Mostly the brakes. Those same somplaints are on every ford and chevy site. I have no allegence to Nissan or any import brand. I have no reason to defend it. As a matter of fact, search Titantalk and you will see I defend domestics constantly.

I think you'd probably find that anywhere, but it is discouraging. I'm pissed at GM about my 2001 S-10. I softened up a bit about it and though maybe I'd buy a Colorado or Canyon until I started reading the reviews and saw all the problems posted on this site; http://www.coloradofans.com/viewforu...3a2e0172f40a81
