New uncovered 05 Mustang pics.... Are they real??
I was looking on BON and came across these pics. Some look photoshopped but some seem to be fairly accurate and maybe someone uncovered one of those test mules.

Well I thought it looked fairly accurate. But the first pic of the nose with foglights in the grille looked kinda "doctor'd"
Overall I like the design. Not as retro as the concept and I like that.

The pictures are most certainly real!
However, I'm not sure if the story about the guy being fired is, though. Ford is going to have these cars at both Detroit & LA in less than 3 months, and the concept itself was previewed last year. Also, these pictures aren't new, they are many months old.
Though I'm sure Ford media didn't release them, I suspect there was advance knowledge of them being sent out by someone. Ford is known for doing things like this. Most all those prototype front ends grafted on existing cars for "cooling tests" had their locations leaked, and the infamous uncovered SN94 Mustang clay model on the flatbed pictures virtually had the truck's route leaked.
BTW: Last year's Mustang Concept styling is an early peak at the 2005 Mustang Cobra.

Thank you Ford for bringing me another chopped up fugly car. The interior looks that of a refined fox body from 89 vs the 94-99 cars, and the exterior looks kinda bulky a gawdy. Literally this almost feels like the thunderbird trend all over again. Anyone who couldn't own the 69-72 Mach 1 can now own it today!! Sorry so negative on this one, but I was hoping they would have taken the positives from the concept and grown on it, but I guess not...
