Looks to be following the winning Arts & Sciences formula.

Talk amongst yourselves...

Is it going to be larger than the CTS? I hope they don't make it look too much like the CTS, although I like it. I just think it would be a bad move to make them nearly identical.

I agree... I think they ought to be able to pull it off though... much like how you know a car is a BMW, but they are not clones of each other in various sizes....

I thought the STS was more like a sport-wagon type thing? Thats what it looked like as a concept at least

You are thinking of the SRX...

The 2005 STS replaces the temporarily retired STS (Seville STS)... Base Seville remains for 2004...

Did anyone see the pic of the "STS" concept that had Sixteen styling cues on it? I only saw this once in a magazine and I thought it looked great. I too hope that the STS distinguishes itself from the CTS. I love the look of the CTS but also want something different in the larger, more upscale STS. Also along the same lines, I hope the interior is different as well.

STS supposedly equals "Sports Touring Sedan"

SRX would then be Sports Recreational Crossover??

What you're looking for then would be the STW!! Or maybe a DTW Deville Touring Wagon? CTW? RXW? WTF?

I thought the sixteen was the design concept for the STS. That would be pretty sweet.

The Imaj was the precursor to the new STS. Judging from the pic, the car looks to be pretty good looking. Proportions look nice. I'd like to reiterate that I hate alpha numeric names. Give the cars a proper name.

They aren't alpha numeric, just alpha names. I do like proper names but I do kinda like the 3 letter alpha names. The ones I hate are the alpha numeric names because they make the car so impersonal and even more confusing than other names. I have to find the pic I was talking about.

See them every day here at work. They are going to be sweet. I could probably go sit in one down in the garage right now. The interior is definitely a little more ritzy than the CTS, and yes the car is obviously bigger than the CTS. It should be quite the success...

Sounds great!

Any tidbits you can share?

Any styling traits that are unique to the car? It'll be interesting to see the different directions that Arts & Science can go in without losing it's identity!

That's good to hear. I'm anxious to see one!

Is the interior different or just more plush? I am interested to see different interiors for the "art & science" design theme. I like the XLR best so far.
