I suppose this will be another impressive GM car that NA won't get...

Seems like we will get it. There was a recent report that GM cut a deal with Canadian officials and the Regal will be built in Oshawa.

There's a very good chance this will come stateside and slot beneath the new LaCrosse...

Basically, LaCrosse replaces Lucerne, and Regal replaces old LaCrosse.

Outside looks great but the inside looks... I dunno... good? Not as good as the Lacrosse's interior to me, but then again I guess that's how it's supposed to be if this 'slots' under the lacrosse.

I agree, for some reason the Opel looks a little better, maybe it is just lighting, angles, etc..

LaCrosse is also supposed to be one model up from the Regal so it better have everything just a little better.

Just photos at this point, of course, but the Regal interior looks much richer to me; eye of the beholder I guess.

looks great

It incorporated a number of "luxury" items from other manufacturers, and it looks like a great, solid product that will be able to compete with Acura TSX/TL, Lexus ES, VW Passat/CC.

The LCD display in the middle of the instrument cluster is very reminiscent of Audis.

The volume control on the steering wheel are actually scroll wheels - again, something I noticed on Audis.

Similarly with the emergency parking brake - it's a "button" that looks like power window switch. Again, I first noticed that in Audis.

Not to say that Audi pioneered all those things, it could be coming from other manufacturers, but I am glad that this Buick has these "small" touches that add up to a whole new experience.

Next-gen Saturn Aura's on hold indefinitely. Looks like Buick's going to get this instead of Saturn.

SWEET!!

What an amazing looking car inside and out! I really... really like this car. I sure hope this is how it will look in the showrooms.

Yes, and that's a good thing... seeing as the Opel Insignia was the European COTY. I wonder what kind of price point this would sell for in NA?
