New Infiniti G35 Sedan
Re: New Infiniti G35 Sedan
Based on what we've seen of the new CTS, that car doesn't stand a chance (from a styling and interior standpoint; we don't know much about the upcoming CTS powertrain). IMHO, of course.
At first glance I'd say it's an improvement over the current G35 sedan, however.

Re: New Infiniti G35 Sedan
It looks to be slightly wider and alot lower than the current car. The real question is can caddy keep up with the G35? Model for model the G is slightly cheaper except the base 2.8L cts, but who wants to compare 210hp to 298hp? And the G does 60 in a second less than the CTS 3.6L. They are revising the VQ engine(again!) for even more power thant the current car, I am thinking they will add direct inject, I am guessing for 320hp. We are shopping between used models of these cars now. Its a toss up, the G35 is more reliable but the CTS seems to hold its value slightly better. We are leaning toward the american product because of its great styling.
Re: New Infiniti G35 Sedan
The front looks pretty good, but I'm not feeling the more rounded rear (no pun intended).
From a strictly styling standpoint, I agree the CTS is in a much different league. But, the new Infinity will likely start at $31-32K where it is now. I'm not convinced at all that the new CTS we saw on 60 minutes won't have a healthy price jump from it's Buick-like $29K to at least the mid $30Ks.
